Hockey
Most likely originating in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, ice hockey migrated south to the United States during the 1890s. An exciting team sport, hockey requires athletes to develop not only speed and agility on the ice, but also teamwork as they skillfully use their hockey sticks to maneuver the puck into the opposing goal. With six players on each team vying for dominance on the ice (including one goalkeeper, the sport is extremely entertaining to watch and fun to play.
