Ski Jumping
Ski jumpers from all over the world will attest that their sport is the closest thing to actually flying. By hurtling down an inrun track with a take-off ramp, jumpers soar through the air in an attempt to go as far as possible. Winners are decided on a scoring system based not only on distance but also style. Judges can award up to 20 points for style, based on keeping the skis steady during flight, balance, good body position and landing.
