Terrain ParkSpecial Needs

The National Ability Center offers a wide variety of year-round activities, which include alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, swimming, cycling, waterskiing, horseback riding, rafting and camping trips, challenge course activities, leadership development training, and more. Last year, nearly 10,700 individuals participated in about 25,000 experiences and outings!

2007-2008 Utah Winter Games Clinics

1) Huntsman Cup Camp- Learn to Alpine Race
This clinic is designed to teach alpine ski racing to individuals with disabilities who want to learn to race and help hone the skills of current alpine ski racers.
 
Where: Park City Mountain Camp
Date: December 30-31, 2007
Who can attend? Athletes of all ages and abilities with disabilities
Check-in: 8:45 am
Clinic Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Cost: $40 per day includes a lift pass
What to Bring: Specialty ski equipment may be required

2007-2008 Utah Winter Games Competitions

2) Huntsman Cup
International alpine ski racing competition for athletes with disabilities.
 
Where: Park City Mountain Camp
Date: January 1-3, 2008
Who can attend? Athletes of all ages and abilities with disabilities
Check-in: 7:30 am at David Holland’s Resort Lodging and Conference Center
Race Time: TBD
Cost: $30 per day + an additional $30 per day for lift ticket
What to Bring: Specialty ski equipment may be required
